Developing Tourism in the Hills and Hawkesbury areas of Sydney

Hills Hawkesbury & Riverlands Tourism is an incorporated association that has been formed by the tourism industry within the Hills, Hornsby & Hawkesbury districts of Sydney.

When it commenced in October 2008, it is the first regional tourism organisation for this area that has included the three shire council areas in destination promotion to increase the awareness of the area for tourism and economic benefit.

As a not-for-profit organisation, the Hills Hawkesbury & Riverlands Tourism will seek industry membership to carry out the promotion and development of the tourism industry in the area.

The vision of the organisation is to;

 "To develop an attractive, professional and sustainable tourism industry in the Hills and Hawkesbury areas of Sydney”

We will achieve this by providing tailored development opportunities for tourism businesses as well as actively promoting the area to the media, industry contacts and consumers. This will include various mediums from traditional media, through to partnership relations and the world wide web. Every member will receive benefits for their membership relevant to their level and they can upgrade at any time during the year.
