The Blue Mountains Botanic Garden, Mount Tomah sits on a basalt peak 1000 metres above sea level in the World Heritage listed Greater Blue Mountains. The Garden is home to thousands of species of cool climate and southern hemisphere plants. As well as the many beautiful gardens and rainforest walks, the Garden runs events and workshop for all ages to inspire love for plants.

Fascinating Fungi
Don Goves and Ray Kearney from the Sydney Fungal Studies Group will present a day of fungal fun. Discover the fascinating world of lichens and their intimate relationship between algae and fungi and learn all about truffles, stinkhorns and medicinal fungi.

Fascinating Fungal Display
The Sydney Fungal Studies Group present a colourful photographic display of the fascinating world of Fungi from stinkhorns to glow in the dark rainforest fungi. The display will incorporate a sculptural exhibition of exquisite local fungi by Blue Mountains artsist Marion Westmacott.

Blue Mountains Film Festival Encore screening comes into the Garden
For the first time, the Blue Mountains Botanic Garden is hosting an after hours film night with a showing of the best shorts from last year's Blue Mountains Film Festival.
See all of the finalist films and festival winners from the 2011 Blue Mountains Film Festival in one screening! From 7pm on Saturday 2 June the theatre in the World Heritage Exhibition Centre will become cosy with cushions and visitors can enjoy some amazing short films.
Cost: Tickets are only $10 and include a glass of wine, beer tea or coffee. NOTE: Tickets are restricted to 18+
